Dinner parties are the best way to test out a recipe and share stories about how the ideas first came about. Here at Hipster Decadence Headquarters, making food and sharing stories is one of our favorite things to do, so it seemed perfectly appropriate to invite fellow-foodie Michele Wylen over (again!) to test out her new dessert invention!
Keeping the words “simple,” “low-budget,” and “decadent,” in mind, Michele nailed this recipe by altering store-bought items with a homemade flair. This recipe is about pairing lemon, basil, blackberry, and fresh-cracked pepper, and these simple steps created a very affordable, memorable treat. How something so simple could taste so good, well, that’s what it’s all about :)
